We are planning to have a Parish Renewal that will involve the forming of small “in home” groups to read and discuss books by author, Matthew Kelly.  The books are simple, direct, and aimed at life issues that will pertain to all participants – and anyone for that matter. The groups and discussions are meant to make us better, more involved Catholics, to strengthen our relationship with Jesus, and to build a stronger community at St. Patrick’s.
We are looking first of all for 10 to 15 families, or people who would offer their homes to host the small groups. They would meet on Tuesdays at the Rectory at 8pm ( April 4^th, 11^th & 18^th, and May 9^th & 16^th). Then would recruit people to be part of their group which would start in the Fall. Of course, the leaders will determine the day of the week that they will offer for the discussion, thus making it easier for more people to participate because it will be offered many days during the week. We will also open it up to the parish once we know the dates and places – and then we will begin toward the end of September 2017. We hope that this will bring new life to our parish as more people – not just the same people – get more deeply involved.  Please call the Parish Office to let us know you are interested in hosting a group.
