Thank you for your interest and commitment in enrolling your child(ren) in St. Patrick's Religious Education (RE) program for children in 1st through 8th Grade (8th Grade is two and a half months only). Children will receive a vibrant, joyful foundation in the faith. Class size is small (20 students, often much smaller), and our Volunteer Catechists are experienced and caring. Sending your child(ren) to Religious Ed every year from 1st through 8th Grades helps secure them a solid foundation in the faith and helps qualify them to receive their Sacraments on time with their peers.

We also offer classes for children with Special Needs, which address their individual needs in a small, nurturing group setting as they learn about the faith and are prepared to receive their Sacraments. 

Religious Education Classes for All Grades are 
 Tuesday afternoons, 4-5:30 pm,  September through end of May.
 (Classes for children with documented Special Needs will be 60 minutes. ) 
 All classes begin Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

REQUIRED MEETING FOR PARENTS OF 1ST GRADERS, 6TH GRADERS, AND ALL NEW STUDENTS IS MON SEPT 9 AT 7:30 PM IN SCHOOL BLDG.  1st graders, 6th graders, and New Students are not considered fully registered until/unless parent attends this meeting.

Before (Re) Registering your child/children, please be sure that you and they will not have a scheduling conflict for the entire 90 minutes. Late registration does not guarantee a space for your child in the incoming class.

To register for classes, you must be a St. Patrick's Parishioner, if you are NOT a parishioner you can register on the website HERE.

After you have registered with the Parish, please complete the Registration Form for NEW and RETURNING students.  Please note: Registration Form is two-sides/pages, three for children with allergies + a one-per-family Media Authorization Form. You can type directly on the form and print it out. (Current RE families also received a hard copy registration sent home with their youngest child March 26.)

Please return the completed form with the required Registration Fees, and, if your child is either a 1st grader and/ or NEW to our program, a copy of the child's baptismal certificate to St. Patrick's Religious Education Office, 3560 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY 10306.   Payment is by check or money order and must be made out to: St. Patrick's Religious Education (not to the church or school)

Registration Fees 2024-2025 for 1st-7th Graders (please call for 8th Grade Fees) :
One child: $300. 
Two or more children: $475
There is an additional $140.00 Sacrament Fee for each child entering 2nd or 8th grade and receiving First Holy Communion (FHC) or Confirmation in 2024/25. (For twins, the fee is a total of $250, not $280.) Sacrament Fees can be paid at time of registration OR you can pay Sacrament fee in September 2024 (please write separate checks for registration and sacrament fees).

Payment is by check or money order and must be made out to:
St. Patrick's Religious Education (not to the church, not to the school)
There is a non-refundable $25 fee if you register and drop out.

 and return by mail with the required fee.
