When you enter your retirement years, you may decide you want to spend them in the comfort of your own home. Sometimes, seniors find they need a little extra help to remain safe and healthy at home. In Staten Island, there are home care services available to help you do just that. This guide walks you through your home care options and the potential costs and provides resources that can assist you in aging well at home.

St. Patrick’s would like to restart a phone buddy program for parishioners who are homebound or unable to get out as often as they used to and would like to receive a weekly phone call from a fellow parishioner to chat and be updated on parish news, etc. If you’re interested in either receiving the calls or volunteering to make the calls, please contact the coordinator Alice G. at 917-397-9716. This is a great way to reach out to others from the comfort of your home.
